Amos Leo Crowe 1928-2019
Passed away peacefully at the Welland Hospital the evening of Friday, July 5, 2019 in his 92nd year.
Sadly missed by his beloved wife of almost 50 years Doreen (nee Clark). Much loved father of Fern Haverkamp (Diane), Joseph Crowe, Barbara Thompson and Randy Perry (Carole). Cherished grandfather of Tammy Naylor (James), Adam Crowe, John Haverkemp Jr., Dwayne Nunemaker, Cory Prenz-Perry, Kyle Perry and Tanner Perry. Great grandfather of Nathan, Jacob, Phoenyx, Jasper, Paige, Kayden, Mason and Elaina.
Leo also leaves behind his siblings; Melba, Wesley, Carson (Shirley), Kenneth (Ina), Allan and sister-in-law Pearl. Predeceased by his parents; Naaman and Elsie and brothers; Glen, Roger and his sister Dorothy.

Leo worked for many years at the MTO. He enjoyed working in the garden and had a great passion for wood-working. Leo and Doreen loved to travel and were able to spend 17 winters in Florida. Above all, Leo loved spending time with family, friends and tell his stories at Tim Hortons on West Side Road in Port Colborne.

Interment will take place at Hillside Cemetery in Ridgeville on Saturday July 13th at 1pm followed by a
Celebration of Life at the Fonthill Legion Branch 613, HWY 20, from 2-4 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ostomy Canada Society- Niagara Branch. Online condolences may be shared at www.pedlarfuneralhome.ca

I am so so sorry to Doreen and all the family. Mum just got Doreen’s letter and told me. My heart goes out to all of you. I have the fondest memories of Leo. Never forgotten.

Our sympathy to Doreen and her family on their loss of my Uncle Leo. Special love to Fern and Joe ( my cousins ) , during this sad time. Although we had not seen Uncle Leo in many years, he will remain a kind memory in our thoughts.

Leo was a wonderful gentleman , always with a smile. He enjoyed life, people, friends and we loved his interesting stories of the past. Leo will be missed.
