Hello to the Currans,
Uncle John as we first called him, was a lovely fellow, and we enjoyed visiting his home in Fonthill. As I grew, he coached me in soccer twice. Once when I was a child, and again when I was a young woman.
I loved having him as a coach. He was positive, and he loved the sport. He was always encouraging, and he would run with us to get us motivated.
As I look back, he was a wonderful bloke, who did his best to help motivative me along the way, and I will miss him. I had no idea (when we are young we often don't) how much I would come to appreciate his kindness and drive. As an acting coach now, he has influenced my work!
Much love and condolences to you all! Hopefully he and my Dad are having a great discussion on sport out there in the after-life.
