English, Ralph Raymond (1926 - 2018)
Passed away peacefully at Lookout Ridge Retirement Residence in Fonthill, Ontario, on Sunday October 28, 2018 in his 93rd year. Beloved husband of the late Gertrude (1990) and his second wife Hilda Misner (2012). Loving step-father of David Eldridge and his wife Gisele, Gary (1961) and James (1993).
Cherished brother to Verna Lee, and step-grandfather of Lynn Eldridge Jette, Stephanie Eldridge, Jason Eldridge, Chaya Guertin, and Loralee Gibbs (deceased). Predeceased by brothers Jack, Earl and sisters Alice and Erma. Ralph spent his working life in the mining industry with Falconbridge Nickel Mines in Sudbury Ontario and with Domtar Sifto Salt division in Goderich. He was an elder of the Reform Church in Woodbourne, New York and a Canadian veteran. The family would like to extend its heart felt thanks for their care to the staff at Lookout Ridge and Niagara CCAC, for their care and compassion while Ralph was in their care.
In keeping with Ralph's wishes cremation has taken place. The memorial service will take place at the James L. Pedlar Funeral Home, 1292 Pelham Street, Fonthill at 2:00 pm on November14th.
