Stan was one of the finest men that I have known. He and Winnie raised a beautiful family of good people to whom I extend my most sincere condolence. The Lord made few men as good as Stan.

We so well remember Winn and Stan from our 20 years on Foss Road. We were "kitty-corner" neighbours with them, north-east across the intersection of Foss and Effingham Roads. Winn and Stan were early supporters of our Foss Road "neighbourhood watch" program, and they always kept their eyes open while driving east along Foss Road past our place from their farm. Our son Rick happened to be home from university one weekend (a rare event), loading items from our garage into his car. Our two cars were not in their usual place in the driveway. So, of course, as he drove past, Stan did not recognise the car in the driveway with the trunk open, and drove up to the house to challenge him! Good laughs (and thanks) all around!
His death, and that of Winn earlier, do indeed mark the end of an era for the Foss Road neighbourhood, and of course, for the Liebau family. It was our pleasure for us to know them. Carole and Ralph Morris

We are so sorry for your loss. "Uncle Stan" always had a kind word of wisdom to share. I am forever grateful to him for giving me the opportunity to sing barbershop harmony, when he took me as a guest to the Singing Saints Chorus in St Catharines.
May God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ grant you peace.
All our love and prayers to you.
